MiniCapture is an excellent application that allows you to record everything you see on your display to WMV files. Apparently, you can capture separate frames into BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG and TIF files. The software can capture the whole screen, a separate window or a user-defined rectangular area, which comes really handy for recording application-specific tutorials and video guides. All video recordings can be supplied with an audio track with your comments or background music. You can pause and resume the recording process any time by pressing a hotkey combination on the keyboard. MiniCapture is based on DirectShow technology, which makes for a greater number of supported formats and improved performance. Recorded videos can be easily converted to over 30 popular formats (including MPEG 1/2 VCD/SVCD/DVD, WMV, MOV, RMVB, SWF, iPod, 3GP(mp4), PSP), which will allow you to play your files anytime, anywhere!
