Author's Description: AKVIS Stamp is a photo retouching tool for seamless defects removal and objects cloning. AKVIS Stamp allows enhancing portraits (as it brilliantly removes wrinkles, scars, scratches, porous skin) and retouching of different image flaws (stains, dust, scratches). Unlike common clone tools, Stamp boasts automatic adjusting of the "patches" to the color range, texture and brightness of the target background.
Users of the newer releases of Adobe Photoshop (starting with v.7) have a similar tool - Healing Brush - at their disposal, but the unique Edit Mode of AKVIS Stamp makes this plug-in yet more handy and powerful. It gives more flexibility with the large fragments cloning. When cloning fragments it will not fuse the cloned area with the background until the Edit Mode is deactivated, allowing multiple revisions such as changing the size of the stamp, indicating another source for cloning, making clones out of different parts of the image.
Thus, AKVIS Stamps adds a superior healing tool to Jasc Paint Shop Pro, Corel Photo-Paint, Ulead PhotoImpact, ACD FotoCanvas, Picture Publisher Pro, and to the earlier versions of Adobe Photoshop.
AKVIS Stamp runs on Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/NT and now it is also available for the Macintosh OS X operating system.
